FAQ
Frequently asked questions on essential oils contract filling
The key answers on MOQs, SDS, ADR classes and GC-MS analyses - quick and direct.
A short conversation is sometimes faster than any form.
Call now →MOQs vary depending on the product category and raw material availability. For standard oils such as lavender, peppermint and eucalyptus, typical minimum quantities are 5–10 kg. Different minimum quantities apply to customer-specific blends and special formulations.
GHS-classified essential oils - these are most pure and concentrated fragrance oils - require an SDS for commercial customers under REACH Art. 31. Avoria GmbH prepares SDS for filled batches on request in German and English language versions.
Yes. Flammable liquids of ADR class 3 - these include most concentrated essential oils with a flash point below 60 °C - are filled with ADR-compliant packaging, labeling and transport documentation. The UN number, packing group and flash point must be stated in the enquiry.
The batch record documents: GC-MS identity testing of the raw material, raw material CoA, filling date, fill weight record with tolerance evidence and finished goods weight. For GHS batches: CLP classification note. For cosmetic-grade batches: INCI list as standard.
Yes. Avoria GmbH carries out GC-MS identity testing at its own laboratory site - as incoming goods inspection for raw materials and, on request, as standalone analysis orders. For in-depth analysis (complete component profiling, purity verification) the in-house laboratory is available.
IFRA (International Fragrance Association) defines use restrictions for fragrances in various product categories - relevant for cosmetics, personal care and household products. Avoria GmbH documents the raw materials used with the INCI name and CAS number, so that the client can carry out the IFRA check on this basis.
