Project check

Which project route suits your powder?

Answer three short questions. Your selection is carried straight into the inquiry – a technical commitment is only given after review.

Customer questions

What customers want to know first

Is my powder suitable for your process?

That depends on factors including flow behavior, bulk density and packaging. Send us a short product description so we can assess the requirements.

What information do you need to get started?

A short project description and your contact details are enough for an initial enquiry. Product type, fill weight and target quantity help us assess the project, where already known.

Is test filling possible?

Test filling may be possible depending on the product and format. We agree the scope and requirements after the technical assessment.

Applications

Which powder projects is AVORIA the right partner for?

Powders differ in bulk density, flow behavior, dust generation, moisture sensitivity and dosability. We therefore assess every project against the specific product, the intended packaging and the target market.

  • Drink powders and electrolytes

Instant drinks, electrolyte products, vitamin and mineral blends and other functional drink powders. Relevant factors are formulation, solubility, flavoring, fill weight and packaging format.

  • Protein, whey, clear whey and sports nutrition

Raw material combination, bulk density and portion size affect blending and filling. AVORIA reviews existing formulations as well as projects that still need development work.

  • Vitamin, mineral and supplement powders

Composition, dosage, raw material status, target market, labeling and packaging are considered together. Health claims and regulatory requirements have to be reviewed separately on technical and legal grounds.

  • Food, instant and plant powders

Spices, seasoning blends, soup powders, plant powders and other dry food mixes. Product specification, allergens, flow behavior and cleaning requirements have to be clarified in advance.

  • Cosmetic and specialty powders

Cosmetic and specialty powders are assessed on intended use, product specification, safety information and the desired packaging.

  • Industrial applications

For industrial applications, you will find more information under Technical powders in portion sachets.

Process

From the product idea to the finished pack

  1. Assessment and agreement

Clarify the product, formulation, raw materials and project scope.

  2. Samples and approval

Agree on blending, packaging and technical requirements.

  3. Production and control

Carry out test fills, series production and documented checks.

Technical steps in detail
  1. Define the product and the goal

We clarify the application, target group, target market and desired packaging. A clear product description is the basis for every further step.

  2. Review formulation and raw materials

Existing formulations, specifications and raw material documents feed into the project review. If development is needed, the scope is defined in advance. Customer-supplied raw materials can be considered after review.

    Product development

  3. Plan blending and sampling

For multi-component products, homogeneity, sequence, bulk density, flow behavior and portioning are decisive. Samples and test fillings form the basis for technical release.

  4. Agree packaging and material

Format and material have to suit the powder, the fill weight and the application. Neutral material, printed film, labels or customer-supplied packaging are reviewed separately.

    Packaging and kitting

  5. Prepare test fillings and the series

Before series start, at least ten consecutive test fillings are carried out. Dosing, fill weight and tolerances are checked and documented in the process.

  6. Filling, control and supply

During production, fill weights are checked continuously; batches and tolerances are documented. Labeling, cartoning and provision follow the confirmed project scope.

    Logistics services

Projects are generally carried out within our own facilities. Depending on batch size or special project requirements, selected specialist partners from our vetted network may provide additional support. We agree the scope and responsibilities transparently with you in advance.

Illustrative inquiry - not a customer reference project

Project example: functional drink powder in single portions

Example: a drink powder with Clear Whey, fibre, creatine, vitamins, magnesium and electrolytes — around 25 to 35 grams per portion in sachets or stickpacks.

For the feasibility review we need:

  • Target formulation or nutritional and flavour profile, plus raw material specifications
  • Fill weight, packaging format, total quantity and project phase
  • Target country, sales channel and scope of blending, sampling, filling and assembly

On this basis, AVORIA defines the technically and organizationally feasible project scope. A binding commitment follows after review and written confirmation.

Quality

Quality and documented processes

  • ISO 9001
  • HACCP
  • Own laboratory
  • Roßtal, Bavaria

Site, standards and laboratory

AVORIA works at the Roßtal site in Bavaria to ISO 9001 and HACCP. An in-house laboratory supports project-based testing and process control. For suitable technical applications, ATEX zone-aware processes for zones 20, 21 and 22 are taken into account.

Defined in writing before production starts

Before implementation, the product specification, raw material documents, target weight, packaging material, labeling, test characteristics and release points are set out in writing. Safety data, allergens, cross-contamination risks, hazardous substance properties and special protection requirements must be disclosed in full before acceptance.
