Your advantage
Why external contract filling?
Owning small-pouch filling lines does not pay off for many industrial companies. Setup times, material selection, film testing, cleaning, quality assurance and packaging are demanding. Through external filling, you implement your product quickly and predictably - without building or maintaining your own machines.

Product areas
Which technical powders Avoria GmbH fills into sachets
Descalers & descaling powders
Citric acid powders, phosphate compounds, carbonate blends for household and industrial descalers in single-portion sachets. Coffee machines, water treatment, heating systems.
Cleaning powders
Alkaline and acidic cleaning powders, surfactant blends, abrasive components. A PE/film laminate combination protects against moisture ingress and prevents active ingredient migration.
Zeolite & molecular sieves
Industrial adsorbents, moisture absorbers. Zeolite 3A/4A - extremely hygroscopic. Filling under controlled humidity or nitrogen blanketing is a prerequisite for this material.
Activated carbon
Fine to medium-grain activated carbon powder for filtration, adsorption and cleaning applications. Low bulk density, heavy dusting - dosing head sealing and dust removal at the seal seam are decisive.
Industrial salts & specialty chemicals
Sodium carbonate, industrial-grade NaCl, potassium sulfate, carbonate blends, sulfates and phosphates for industrial process chemistry. Bulk density 0.8-2.0 g/cm³ - individual auger calibration required.
Technical requirements
What technical powders require in sachet filling in sachet filling
Film compatibility
Strongly alkaline cleaning powders, concentrated descaler blends and reactive actives require chemically resistant film - PE monolayer, PE/film laminate or alu-barrier composite. Avoria GmbH clarifies this on the basis of the safety data sheet before order confirmation.
Abrasiveness & dosing head wear
Calcium carbonate, aluminum oxide, silicon carbide - pronounced abrasive effect on metal contact surfaces. For products with known abrasiveness, Avoria GmbH accounts for this in maintenance intervals and the material selection of contact parts.
Hygroscopicity & filling environment
Zeolite, sodium carbonate and sulfates bind air humidity within minutes. The critical variable is the time span in which the open material is exposed to the production atmosphere. Temperature and humidity conditions are recorded in the batch record for hygroscopic fill products.
Bulk density & particle size
Bulk density range of technical powders: 0.03 g/cm³ (fumed silica) to 2.0 g/cm³ (dense industrial salts). Calibration is done with the actual product sample - not with table values from the data sheet.
Dosing technology
Auger dosing for technical powders - dosing accuracy for demanding bulk goods
At Avoria GmbH, filling technical powders always means auger dosing. A rotating auger moves a defined amount of powder into the filling funnel per revolution. The fill weight depends on auger pitch, speed and bulk density - not on gravity or momentary flowability.
We calibrate the auger configuration with the product sample before every series order. Bulk density, D50 particle size value and flow behavior under production conditions are documented.
For industrial B2B clients with REACH-registered substances or CLP/GHS-classified materials: Avoria GmbH provides traceability documentation on request - CAS number, batch number and production date in the CoA.
Batch record
Documented for every production order
- →Auger settings and calibration result
- →Fill weight control measurements during the run
- →Sealing parameters and temperature/humidity data
- →Production date, batch number and operator releases
- →CAS number and identity testing (goods receipt)
- →Certificate of Analysis (CoA) with REACH traceability
Certification
ISO 9001 and B2B supplier qualification - why the certification counts for industrial customers
ISO 9001:2015
Externally certified - not IFS Food. The relevant quality credential for industrial B2B clients. Documented processes, measurable quality indicators, auditable record depth.
REACH & CLP/GHS documentation
For REACH-registered substances and CLP/GHS-classified materials: CoA with CAS number, batch number and production date. Traceability in line with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006.
Auditability
Process deviations are documented and corrected. Measuring equipment calibrated. Batch records retained for recall or complaint cases. On-site audit visits possible - on the production floor.
Direct manufacturer Roßtal
Production, documentation and shipping from one facility in Roßtal, Bavaria. No subcontracting. New technical powders start with a calibration run and test production before the series order.
Not within our scope: Products requiring an AMG manufacturing license, controlled substances (BtMG), explosives and ATEX-classified dusts, as well as pharmaceutical cleanroom production. We clarify this at the first inquiry - not after a test run.
Important note
Not every technical powder can be filled without assessment
Flow properties, bulk density, dust behavior and hazard class determine feasibility. We assess your product transparently - you receive clear feedback on feasibility and conditions.
For a quick assessment we need
- →Product designation and product type (powder, granulate, additive)
- →Bulk density and flow properties (if known)
- →Fill quantity per container (kg, g or liters)
- →Total quantity (units or tonnes/year)
- →Packaging type (pouch, can, sack, sachet)
- →Packaging material: from us or supplied by you?
- →Raw material: from us or supplied by you?
- →Safety data sheet or product specification

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions about technical powder filling - answered quickly.
Sometimes a short call is faster than any form.
Call now →Minimum order quantities depend on the product, the auger configuration and the sachet format. For test and calibration runs, MOQs typically start at 500-1,000 units; for series production from 2,000-5,000 units. Exact figures after product evaluation on request.
From confirmed calibration run to series delivery typically 10-14 working days once all materials and films are confirmed. New technical powders with an unknown production profile require a calibration run first - this is factored into the schedule.
Yes, subject to product evaluation. For REACH-registered substances and CLP/GHS-classified materials we issue the documentation required for batch tracking - CAS number, batch number, CoA, production date. Classification under CLP/GHS remains the client's responsibility as the party responsible for the formulation.
Based on the safety data sheet and the chemical composition, we evaluate film suitability before order confirmation. In case of uncertainty, a migration test storage of the pilot batch is performed. The film choice - PE monolayer, PE/film laminate or alu-barrier laminate - is documented in the batch record.
Yes. Test runs are standard for technical powders - especially for materials with unknown bulk density, strong hygroscopicity or abrasive properties. A test run confirms auger calibration, fill weight tolerance and seal quality, and produces a documented production profile for the specific material.
For purely technical powders without food contact, ISO 9001:2015 is the primary and relevant quality credential for B2B supplier qualification. HACCP is in place at Avoria GmbH and is applied for sachets with food contact or food ingredient applications. For industrial cleaning powders, descalers or technical chemicals without food contact, ISO 9001 is the right framework.
